General information about the pre-registration and enrollment process
Pre-registration is the procedure that must be done to be admitted for the first time in a school supported by public funds, and also when you want to change schools.
The application deadline for the 2022-2023 academic year will be from March 15 to March 24, 2022.
To pre-register you must:
- know the calendar of the whole process,
- consult the centers and the offer of school places,
- know the priority criteria by which requests are ordered and also the necessary documentation to justify them,
- submit the application and the documentation within the period established.
Requests are ordered according to the application of the priority criteria.
Pre-registration dates for the 2022-2023 academic year
The expected deadline for submitting applications will be from March 15 to March 24, 2022. (second cycle of infant education and primary education).
Priority criteria for ordering applications
For the 2nd cycle of infant education and primary education, the following apply:
General criteria
- If there are siblings enrolled in the center or the father, mother, legal guardian works there: 40 points.
- By proximity of home or workplace to the center requested in the first place (only one option):
- When the usual address is in the center's area of influence: 30 points.
- When, at the request of the applicant, the address of the workplace of the father, mother, guardian or de facto guardian is taken into consideration, and this is within the area of center influence: 20 points.
- When the usual address is in the same municipality as the center requested in the first place, but not in its area of influence: 10 points.
- If the father, mother or legal guardian receives the aid of the minimum insertion income: 10 points.
- For disability equal to or greater than 33% of the student or a first-degree relative: 10 points.
Complementary criteria
- For being part of a large or single-parent family: 15 points.
Area of influence
The proximity of the home to the center is one of the general criteria taken into account to establish an order of priority in access. The list of centers close to a residence lists the centers where you can get the maximum score when applying for a school place, if requested as first option.

Obtaining the application form
Pre-registration application forms can be obtained, during the pre-registration period, directly at any educational center, at the Municipal Education Office of Lleida City Council or via the Internet: http://www.gencat. cat/pre-registration
Procedure
To make the pre-registration request, you must present all the necessary documentation to prove the identity of the applicant families and the fulfillment of the priority criteria for the allocation of places. Since this year all procedures are done electronically, you must scan or photograph all the documents requested on both sides and have them available on the device you will use to fill in the pre-registration form, be it a computer, a tablet or a smartphone, in order to be able to attach them.

The documents required to prove the identity of the families in the pre-registration application are:
- Family book or other documents relating to parentage.
When the student is in foster care, the document that must be provided is the foster care decision from the Department of Work, Social Affairs and Families . - ID card of the student's father, mother or guardian.
If the applicant is a foreigner, he will need the residence card with the NIE or passport , and if he is a foreigner from a member country of the European Union, he will need to attach the identity document of the country of origin .
Exceptionally, the identification or affiliation data of foreign students can be proven with the identity document, the family book of the country of origin or the alternative documentation that the person can provide. The director of the corresponding educational center will assess and examine the documentation presented
- Family book or other documents relating to parentage.
Presentation of the request
A single application for pre-registration must be submitted to the educational center requested in the first place. The submission of more than one application results in the invalidation of priority rights.
- On the application form, you must indicate all the centers and courses to which you would like to access, placed in order of preference.
- Educational centers have the obligation to admit all pre-registration requests that are submitted during the days provided in the official pre-registration calendar. No application for admission may be refused for reasons of birth, race, sex, religion, opinion or any other personal or social circumstance.
- The centers cannot receive any amount for this pre-registration, for the reservation of a place or for other concepts and it is not possible to have a place reserved in advance or in a different way than that established by the rule.
- From March 15 to 24, 2021: submission of applications.
- March 25 and 26, 2021: presentation of documentation.
- April 19, 2021: list of applications with the provisional score.
- From 20 to 26 April 2021: Submission of claims.
- April 30, 2021: list of requests with the score once the claims have been resolved.
- May 5, 2021: draw to resolve pre-registration requests tied in points.
- May 7, 2021: ordered list.
- From 26 to 28 May 2021: extension of pre-registration requests without a place assigned to any centre.
- June 4, 2021: final offer of school places.
- June 7, 2021: list of admitted students and waiting list.
