UNESCO Associated Schools
The Organization of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) was born on 16 November 1945 and promotes international cooperation in the fields of education, science, culture and communication.
To reach schools emerged in 1953 the PEA (Plan Associated Schools) that according to UNESCO promote four areas: peace, human rights, culture and the environment.
The school Joc de la Bola belongs to the PEA and carried out:
- Projects in cooperation with local and international.
- Promotes natural and cultural outings organized cycles such as Old Cathedral, Vall de Boi, Ebro Delta, La Garrotxa, La Mitjana ...
- Encourages respect and dialogue as tools for communication and mentoring in school life.
- Celebrate DENIP (School Day of Non-Violence and Peace) commemorating the death of Gandhi.
From an interdisciplinary approach and cross our school tries to inform students what happens in the world with a critical and supportive.
