General characteristics of the school
Joc de la Bola is a public Primary Education school, part of the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia. It is a school of two lines, between the districts of Camp Sports and Joc de la Bola, in Lleida.
The school began its teaching during 1985-1986. It was originally created as a Centre of Experimental Special Regime (CERE). School year 2000-2001, it became an ordinary regime school.
School year 20012-2013, Department of Education recognized the school as a center for deaf pupils, becoming the first school in the province of Lleida with this recognition.
We have an organized AMPA, enthusiastic and collaborator. It fixes challenges, proposes activities and collaborates unconditionally in the functioning of the center.
Our objective is the integral development of our students.
Our goal is excellence and equity in education.
Ensure the shared responsibility between family and school in the education of children.
We respect the values of integration, equality and diversity.
Prioritize democratic values, tolerance and civility.
We propose to do this by promoting teamwork and enhancing learning to learn.
We therefore emphasize the use of ICT and the use of the environment around us.
We intend that families take an active role in all educational processes of students and participate in all the activities organized.
We foster progress, effort and personal improvement.
We are a public, non-denominational, Catalan school. We identify the values of respect for people, promote personal autonomy and responsibility of our students.
We foster the attention to diversity inclusion criteria, so that the center is a welcoming environment and a framework of coexistence for the whole school community.
Promote meaningful learning, diversified and motivator.
We educate our students to become critical and participatory subjects, in the course of a democratic, pluralistic and equitable society.
