Our Educational Project defines the general values, objectives and priorities of action, the basic principles for curricular development, the preferential options and the transversal treatment of education and values

General characteristics of the school

The Joc de la Bola School is a public center, for Early Childhood and Primary Education, depending on the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya. It is a two-line school, located between the neighborhoods of the Camp d'Esports and Joc de la Ball in the city of Lleida.

The center started teaching in the academic year 1985-1986. It was originally created as a Special Regime Experimental Center (CERE). In the 2000-2001 academic year, it became an ordinary regime center.

In the academic year 20012-2013, the Department of Education recognized the School as a center for the group of deaf students, becoming the first school in the province of Lleida with this recognition.

We have an organized, enthusiastic and collaborative AMPA. It sets itself challenges, proposes activities and contributes unconditionally to the proper functioning of the center.

Institutional approach

The values

We are a Catalan public and confessional public school, which identifies itself in the values of respect for people, promotes personal autonomy and responsibility for our students.

We look at diversity as inclusion criteria, so that the center is a welcoming environment and a framework for coexistence for the entire educational community.

We promote meaningful, diversified, motivating learning.

We educate our students to become participatory and critical subjects in a democratic, equitable and plural society.

The mission

Our goal is the integral development of our students.

Our goal is equity and educational excellence.

We look after family and school co-responsibility in educating people who are competent and respectful of diversity.

We respect the values of integration, equality and plurality.

We prioritize democratic values, civility and tolerance.

The vision

We aim to do this by encouraging teamwork and enhancing the competence of learning to learn.

We want to emphasize both the use of CTs and the use of the environment around us.

We hope that families will play an active role in all the students' educational processes and participate in the activities of the center.

We encourage personal progress, effort and self-improvement.
